Items lost, broken, not transported properly. Company arrived with a vehicle too small so my move to Cape Town was done it two loads 4 days apart. Siya and the people he contracts too (some guy by the name of Walter) are as unprofessional and rude as they come. They have refused to assist with the replacement of goods. I have all communications (voice notes and whatsapps that i will happily provide to anyone who needs it) of them agreeing to do so. Im disgusted by this move, start to finish and the unprofessionals that Siya and Walter have proven to be has truely blown me away. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.
Response from Skonza Logistics
Good day Claire,
Hello, we're really sorry to hear that some items were damaged during your move. This is not the standard of service we aim for. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. It's disappointing to learn that our service did not meet your expectations, especially regarding the courtesy and efficiency of our team. We take your feedback seriously and will address this with our team to ensure better service in the future.
As you know, this move was subcontracted to another mover that we have trusted and worked with for years. However, there were incidents that occurred during this move that were brought to my attention; broken work tables and a damaged one-seater couch (tub).
My company and the subcontractor never refused to replace any of these items.
Your work table was compensated for in cash, and you were pleased with that arrangement and confirmed to have received the funds.
Your couch was repaired and delivered to you, and you were happy with the work that was done.
From myself and the team, we are again very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
