They broke a lamp and refused to deliver our furniture without us paying the full amount. The person who we talked to on the phone started shouting at us and kept interrupting us, we thought we got scammed at some point... they are a less expensive option to go with, but it's not worth the stress. I would not recommend them

This is a shocking review, the booking was for 10am on Friday, we were there atleast 15 minutes before, delivery time frame was supposed to be between 3 and 7 days ,we delivered the following evening. Not sure how we got 2 for punctuality.
Communication from the quoting stages up to delivery was seamless and prompt, not sure how that translated to a 4 review.
We were corteous and accomodative, clients requests to change dates was accomodated, not sure how our professionalism is dragged to a 2.
All the sensitive goods were wrapped prior to loading and delivered in good condition, Im only learning of a broken lamp after reading this review in which case we would have done amends, not sure why this would deserve a rating of a 4
With regards to the payment issue, Im not sure where does it even feature, our terms on wisemove and on the formal quotes state that our payment terms are 50% to book and balance on loading and in this case that was waived until the goods arrived in East London. Our staff like any other moving Company are instructed never to offload cos we also have been scammed before by not following this crucial precaution.
It is disheartening to be reviewed like this when we think we pulled out a 5 star service but then I guess without any sort of moderation, clients can write whatever they like and we just have to accept and move on. Doesnt discourage us to keep on doing our best to serve our customers with distiction as the saying goes, you can never make everyone happy.
